In 2018, Ubisecure became a GLEIF accredited LEI Issuer and created the RapidLEI service to issue LEIs.

The Global LEI Foundation (GLEIF) was established by the G20 and Financial Stability Board (FSB) in June 2014 and is regulated by the LEI Regulatory Oversight Committee (LEI-ROC). The GLEIF is tasked to support the implementation and use of the Legal Entity Identifier. RapidLEI supports GLEIF initiatives such as the Validation Agent framework and the verifiable LEI (vLEI).
Accredited Legal Entity Identifier LEI Issuers (Legal Operating Units) are authorised to issue LEIs to legal entities. Ubisecure RapidLEI is an accredited LEI Issuer and custodian of LEI reference data.
